Since December 2024, we have been using Sengerio software for the complete management of ticket sales activities for our Local Public Transport services, divided into three main areas of operation:

  • Sales through authorized retailers
  • Online sales through web portal
  • Management of back office activities

In each of these areas, the platform has proven to be highly performant, reliable and extensively customizable, responding accurately to all our operational needs, both in terms of sales and reporting. Despite the complexity of the system we manage-with nearly 11,000 different fares and some 267,000 relationships between fares and routes-the software provides excellent fluidity of use, effectively supporting both sales and management and updating operations (such as fare changes and reporting production).

Do sales points use a dedicated app for issuing tickets?

Yes, sales points have access to the dedicated Sengerio Ticketing app (ticketing.sengerio.com). This allows them to customize buttons for quick issuance of the most requested tickets and to view the list of sold tickets and payment requests.

Is it possible for sales points to print tickets?

Yes, Sengerio allows sales points to print tickets. Printing is done on numbered paper, specifically assigned to each sales point. With each issuance, the system automatically deducts the corresponding ticket number from the assigned stock.

Can sales points use any printer for tickets?

No, only Zebra printers are allowed. This limitation is necessary to ensure reliable control and traceability of tickets printed through Sengerio.

Can tickets be issued on board?

Yes, staff can issue tickets on board using the Sengerio Ticketing app (ticketing.sengerio.com) from a smartphone. Tickets can be printed with a Bluetooth printer or sent to the passenger via email.

How is Sengerio integrated for online sales on the company website?

Integration is done by activating and customizing your own portal from the Sengerio backend, with your company’s colors and logo. The portal will be available on the custom domain my.example.com. You just need to add the portal link to your website to allow customers to purchase from a PC or smartphone.

Does Sengerio offer tools for ticket inspection on board?

Absolutely. For efficient and secure ticket inspection on board, staff have access to the Sengerio Verifier app (verifier.sengerio.com). By scanning the QR code, the app provides real-time information on the ticket’s validity and displays any associated card, complete with photo, for faster verification.

What are the methods for activating tickets on board the vehicle?

With Sengerio, tickets can be activated on board in two main ways. Passengers can activate their ticket simply by holding the QR code up to the validator reader installed on the vehicle. Alternatively, staff can activate tickets by scanning the QR code directly with the Sengerio Verifier app (verifier.sengerio.com).
