Let’s see how to configure and use a rate table in Sengerio.
From the list, press the + button and choose the type of rate table that you want to create, for example the one for private transfers.
First choose a description and specify for which type of vehicle this rate table will be applicable.
Set the start and end of validity.
And access the tab Transfer prices.
For a precise route, indicate the point, or area, of departure and arrival, choosing from those that you have already defined in Sengerio.
Or enter new ones from the buttons at the bottom.
For an area, the rate table will be applied for whatever place that falls within it.
Set the price, the duration of the section, and continue.
Alternatively, you can define a rate per mile.
For example, decide to charge a certain price up to the first 100 miles of the trip, setting also a minimum, and another price for the following miles.
Save your work, and take advantage of it immediately in a new booking.
Specify the customer, the number of passengers and the vehicle type.
Be sure to select a travel type whose macro-type is Private Transfer, so that Sengerio searches for the rate table from those rate tables.
Then enter the route information.
Given that the departure falls in the area that you specified, Sengerio automatically shows you the correct price.
Specifying a different destination instead uses the rate per mile.
To see the details of a rate table, access Prices and click on Show rate table.
In addition to the rate tables for transfer, Sengerio also lets you define those for tours.
Different from a transfer, a tour can be half a day, i.e. less than six hours, daily, or several days, and you can define the prices for each of these types independently.
You are free to choose the elements that compose the price and define each in detail.
For example, the price per mile of the vehicles, and that of the driver’s time.
You can also register a half day tour in a specified area.
It is enough to select it, specifying the miles and hours included in the price, as well as any supplements.
The use in the booking is identical to the previous case. It’s enough to specify, on top of everything else, a type of trip whose macro-type is Private Tour.
If necessary, you can always define discounts for certain customers, or you can reserve the entire rate table exclusively.
You can also easily specify price supplements, in certain range or special days.
For example, a 10% increase over the weekend, or 20% at Christmas.
Superb! Now you know how to set up your customized rate tables in a simple and complete way.
